News:Neobux: NeoPoints conversion to the Rental Balance is no longer possible

Quoting the Neobux Admin:

As already announced, the huge and unexpected success of AdPrize affected our once stable referrals' distribution.

The main reason for it was the NeoPoints that users earned through AdPrize and then used them to rent referrals thus making us have less and less referrals to offer every day.

We had several options to mitigate that such as:
- Increase rental prices
- Lower the limit of referrals users can have
- Reduce AdPrize prizes
- Lower the NeoPoints' conversion rate
- Etc.

All were good options to solve the availability of rented referrals but all would be unfair towards our users and that's something that we don't do unless we have no other option.

Turns out we have another option and that's what's being presented today: No more renting with NeoPoints.

Starting now no one will be able to convert NeoPoints into their Rental Balance. This will stop users that earned NeoPoints to affect other users that also want to benefit from renting referrals.

Not only this is great to solve the referral distribution issues we were having but also comes with an added benefit. Now you can use your NeoPoints to directly pay for recycling and/or renewals without having to wait to reach a certain amount of NeoPoints.

The average value has also been increased. Users were converting NeoPoints to their Rental Balance at an average rate of $0.00062 per NeoPoint. We've added 20% more to it and now, for all of your referrals' management expenses you'll be able to pay using NeoPoints each being worth 20% more: $0.00075.

The FAQ will soon be updated to reflect this change.

Since no more conversions will be made that affect the Rental Balance we predict that the referral distribution process should take only 2 to 3 days to stabilize. This estimation is given taking into account an average based on the users that still have recently converted their NeoPoints but still haven't used them to rent referrals.

Many of our users collect NeoPoints to get a golden membership for free. This is still possible with 30000 NeoPoints. So, nothing else changes regarding NeoPoints.

In a few days everything will be back to normal without hurting our users in any way.

Note: Currently you cannot use NeoPoints to recycle when you are using and you also cannot use NeoPoints to renew in the renewals page. NeoPoints can currently be used by selecting the referrals you need in the referrals' listing page.
